"ON
THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK, AT EARLY DAWN,
THEY CAME TO THE TOMB, BRINGING THE SPICES THEY HAD PREPARED”

"Sitting in the Garden Tomb in the early
morning on the Easter Sunday, reflecting on
the stone being rolled away from the opening
of the tomb just a few feet away, and
envisioning Jesus walking in the garden,
perhaps behind a tree near me – I knew this
was a place for the living. Jesus was
crucified and living for me." |

“Thank you for the cross,
Lord
Thank you for the price You paid
Bearing all my sin and shame,
In love You came, and gave amazing grace.” |

“The highlight of the trip for me was the
Easter morning sunrise service when we were
singing songs that had the words "shame" and
"guilt" in them. I felt my Savior lifted my
shame and guilt that morning and gave me a
new level of freedom from my past." |

"The highlight for me was at the Garden
Tomb. That day it was drizzling and
very cold. I was chilled through and
through. After Communion we each went
into the tomb. I was expecting it to
be damp and cold. I stepped through
the door and I felt like the Lord had placed
a warm blanket around me. I did not
want to leave and will never forget it." |
